Information this site collects
If you use the contact form, this site collects your first name, last name, email address, and message so Jareen can respond to your inquiry.
Like most websites, this site’s hosting provider receives standard request information needed to deliver and protect the site. That information can include an IP address, browser and device details, the requested page, and the time of the request.
When analytics is enabled, PostHog provides cookieless aggregate pageview and engagement analytics. The site records page paths without query strings or fragments and a small set of actions such as successful contact-form submissions, video plays, newsletter clicks, and major call-to-action clicks. PostHog transiently processes an IP address and user agent to generate a rotating, daily salted hash. This site does not use PostHog cookies, local storage, session storage, person profiles, IP enrichment, or cross-site identifiers.
How information is used
Information is used to respond to inquiries, operate and secure the website, understand aggregate site use, and improve the site’s content and experience. Contact-form content is not sent to analytics.
This site does not sell personal information, use it for targeted advertising, or profile visitors across unrelated websites.
Service providers and embedded media
Vercel hosts the site and may maintain operational request logs. Resend delivers contact-form messages. PostHog processes cookieless analytics in its United States cloud environment when analytics is enabled.
YouTube and TikTok videos are poster images until you choose to play one. Selecting play loads that provider’s embedded player. The provider may then receive information or use storage according to its own privacy practices.
Retention
PostHog analytics are intended to be retained for no more than 12 months. Contact inquiries are generally retained for up to 12 months after the last communication, unless an inquiry must be kept longer for an active business relationship or legal purpose. Service providers may retain operational information according to their own terms and policies.
Your choices and requests
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of information you submitted by using the contact form. Reasonable steps may be taken to verify a request before acting on it.
Because this site does not sell personal information, use targeted advertising, or track visitors across unrelated sites, Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals do not trigger a separate opt-out workflow.
Children’s privacy
This is a general-audience professional website and is not directed to children under 13. The site does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If such information is discovered, it will be deleted.
Changes and contact
Material changes will be announced by updating this page and its effective date. Questions about this policy can be sent through the contact form.
